Gelso Park bike practice camp Reggio Emilia

As part of the Gelso Park redevelopment project in Reggio Emilia , an attempt was made to give new identity and fulfillment to what had already been done previously by the Clockwork Social Center Volunteers by going not only to improve the greenery and street furniture, but also by extending and improving the bike track already in place.

This is a 700-meter-long practice course made to shapes and standards suitable for use and durability to make it a true skill park commensurate with the abilities of young users. The course is made of stabilized earth so that it is easily passable even for beginners. Its development is characterized by an area more purely configured as a circuit and another linear area, in continuity, that extends longitudinally along the western boundary of the park almost to the boundaries of the intervention.
