Monterotondo Marittimo Pump Track

A new pump track designed by Trail Generation has made its debut on the cycling scene; the facility, located in Monterotondo Marittimo, has already been making headlines.

The detailed design calls for the work to be carried out in two phases:

• The first phase calls for the construction of an asphalt pump track and a new structure to be used as a bike storage facility;
• The second phase, on the other hand, involves the creation of a “Trail Zone,” which consists of revitalizing the area upstream of the Municipal Gymnasium by creating trails with gradients ranging from 8 to 10%.

The project is part of a broader plan to renovate the Palazzetto dello Sport area, with a total cost of approximately 330,000 euros.

Located at the foot of the Biancane Park, the new facility takes center stage in a setting already well-known to tourists and characterized by intense geothermal activity.
